The house
A small house
that stayed small.
Kavé started because good fragrance in Pakistan meant paying import prices for something blended somewhere else. We thought the juice could be made here and priced honestly. Four fragrances later, it can.
01
Four, not forty
Most new houses launch with a full shelf, which means twelve formulas signed off before any of them are finished. We made four and spent the time instead.
02
Concentration on the box
Every bottle states its percentage. Two of ours sit at 22% — that is extrait territory, and it is the reason two sprays are enough.
03
Blended in Lahore
Sourced from Laos, Turkey, Haiti and Madagascar; blended, macerated and bottled here. Nothing is white-labelled.
04
Priced like it is 2026
No importer margin, no duty-free markup, no perfume counter. The bottle costs what the juice costs plus a fair margin.
How it happened
Three years, four bottles.
Nothing here launched on schedule. Cuir Sauvage was cut twice and brought back both times because the vetiver was not doing what it needed to.
- 2023
First formulas mixed in a spare room in Gulberg. Most of them were bad.
- 2024
Ambré Lumière reaches revision thirty-one and finally stops changing.
- 2025
Noir Absolu and Fleur de Nuit launch. The first thousand bottles go in eleven weeks.
- 2026
Cuir Sauvage arrives after eighteen months and two near-cancellations.
What that produced
The four that made it.
